I run Robbp Media, and this page answers the question most people ask us before anything else: what does social media management cost? Our management starts from $1,500 a month, billed separately from your ad spend. That number is a starting point, not a package price, because the right fee depends on how many platforms you need, how much new video we make and how much community work sits behind the content. We confirm one fixed monthly fee after a free audit, so you know the exact figure before you sign anything.
This page explains what the fee covers, what moves it up or down, how the contract works and what to check on any quote, including ours. If you want the longer buyer's guide on how the price compares across the market, read our post on how much a social media manager costs. For the full scope of the work, see the social media management service page.
What the monthly fee covers
The fee pays for the whole loop, not just the posting. We plan the content calendar around the questions your buyers actually ask. We write the scripts and captions, shoot or direct the video, edit it and publish it. We answer comments and direct messages, because a post that gets seen but never answered wastes its own reach. Every month you get a report that connects the content to what happened next, whether that is profile visits, saves, enquiries or booked calls.
If a quote only lists a number of posts, ask what those posts are for. A useful plan names the topics, the formats and the reason each piece exists.
What changes the monthly fee
Four things set the number, and we are open about all four.
The first is platforms. One platform costs less than three, because each one has its own formats, its own audience habits and its own reporting. The second is new creative. Filming and editing video is the most expensive part of social media, so a brand that can supply footage, or that needs only a few new videos a month, pays less than one that needs a full production schedule. The third is community work. A few comments a day is a small job. A busy account with hundreds of messages a week is real work, and we price it as real work. The fourth is paid support. Organic posts give paid campaigns creative that has already proven itself, and we build that link into the plan rather than billing it as a separate extra.
How the contract works
We start with a ninety-day term. That gives the work enough time to show whether it is building an audience and bringing in enquiries, which takes longer than one good week. After the first ninety days we move to month to month. You stay because the work is paying back, not because a contract says so.
Ad spend is separate from our fee and is never routed through us. Your ads run from your own Meta or Google account, and the money goes straight to the platform. Be careful with any agency that takes a percentage of your ad budget and calls it a management fee. You should always be able to see the platform bill and our invoice as two different numbers.
Where the price sits next to other services
Social media management is one part of how we work. If you need search visibility on top of it, our SEO and AEO work is a flat $199 a month, which is a separate line on its own. If you want paid social, our paid social agency page explains how Meta and TikTok campaigns are priced and managed, and our Google Ads agency page covers search campaigns, which have their own minimum spend. Most clients start with one channel and add the next once the first is paying back.
For brands that want the whole system, including the landing page, the follow-up and a weekly consult report, our Booked Consults in 30 Days program is priced as a setup fee plus a monthly fee, with ad spend on top. It is built for practices, but the structure shows how the pieces fit together.
How to compare any social media quote
Quotes are hard to compare because agencies describe the same work in different words. Use these four checks, on our quote as much as anyone else's.
Ask what the content will be. "Twelve posts a month" tells you almost nothing. "Twelve posts, six of them short video, each tied to a question a buyer asks" tells you what you are buying.
Ask who does the work. Is it the person who pitched you, a junior working from a template, or a freelancer you will never meet? Any of the three can be fine, but you should know which one you are paying for.
Ask what gets reported. Followers and likes are the easiest numbers to grow and the least connected to money. Ask for enquiries, bookings or sales, and ask how the report ties posts to those outcomes.
Ask what happens if it is not working after three months. A good agency can tell you how it would notice, and what it would change. If the answer is vague, the plan probably has no feedback loop.
Questions people ask
How much does social media management cost per month?
Our social media management starts from $1,500 a month, billed separately from your ad spend. The exact fee depends on how many platforms you need, how much new video is involved and how much community work sits behind it. We confirm one fixed number after a free audit.
How long is the contract?
Ninety days to prove the work is building an audience and enquiries. After that it moves to month to month, so you can stop when you choose.
Does the monthly fee include my ad spend?
No. Ad spend goes straight to Meta, TikTok or Google from your own account and is never routed through us. Our fee covers the management, the content and the reporting.
Can I get social media management without paid ads?
Yes, and for some brands that is the right place to start. Organic social builds an audience and proof over time. It is slower than paid spend, and it works best when the content is strong enough that people share it and come back.
How do I know the quote is fair?
Ask what the content is, who does the work, what gets reported and what happens after three months. A clear answer to each of those is worth more than a lower monthly number with nothing behind it.
Do you charge a percentage of my ad budget?
No. Our fee is a fixed monthly figure set after the audit. We do not take a cut of what you spend on ads.
